📋 Description

• Provide day-to-day execution oversight for multiple large and complex projects led by Senior Project Managers • Ensure projects comply with contractual requirements, approved execution plans, and portfolio priorities • Review and challenge project schedules, resource plans, risk registers, and mitigation actions • Drive execution rigor, identify deviations early, and ensure timely corrective actions • Establish and lead project governance cadence, including project reviews, risk reviews, and recovery plans • Consolidate and manage cross-project risks and dependencies across engineering, factories, supply chain, and site readiness • Escalate material risks, capacity conflicts, and execution trade-offs to the Portfolio Leader with options and recommendations • Support recovery of at-risk projects and lead corrective action plans with Senior Project Managers • Oversee project cost, margin, cash performance, forecasting, EAC updates, and contingency usage • Review and validate major financial assumptions • Support variation orders, claims preparation, and commercial exposure management • Lead, coach, and develop Senior Project Managers • Reinforce accountability, execution discipline, leadership behaviors, and consistent project management processes • Contribute to talent development, succession planning, and capability building • Coordinate with engineering, factories, sourcing, quality, and site teams to resolve delivery issues • Align factory priorities and capacity and escalate conflicts through portfolio governance • Capture and deploy lessons learned, standardization, and best practices • Work with the PCO team on unified communication, consolidated risk management, and coordinated delivery of GE scopes • Support Senior Project Managers in customer engagements, milestone reviews, and escalation meetings • Reinforce transparent customer communication aligned with portfolio strategy • Represent the execution organization in internal forums when delegated by the Portfolio Leader

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college • Minimum 10–12 years of experience executing large, complex electrical substation or power projects • Demonstrated experience leading multiple concurrent projects through Senior Project Managers • Strong execution background across engineering, manufacturing, delivery, installation, and commissioning phases • Solid understanding of project financials, risk management, and contractual exposure • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally (~25%) • Experience working within portfolio or program structures for large EPC or OEM projects • PMI certification (PMP or equivalent)
