📋 Description

• Execute asset enhancement projects for the existing operating fleet • Demonstrate compliance with licensing requirements • Deliver engineering analyses supporting AES projects, including EPUs, MELLLA+, thermal power optimizations, and other AES engineering analyses • Provide engineering analysis project leadership on a production-oriented engineering analysis team • Ensure on-time delivery of engineering analyses, technical reports, correspondence, documentation, and calculations • Provide day-to-day oversight and schedule maintenance for engineering activities • Implement delivery meetings and oversight to ensure reliable delivery of high-quality analyses • Work with the plant Technical Leader to manage and execute solutions to complex technical issues arising during reload analyses • Provide and facilitate technical mentoring for transient analysis staff development and knowledge management

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, or similar) • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a technology or engineering role • Qualified remote candidates will be considered • Ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, if applicable • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable • Understanding of engineering analysis and licensing processes • Relevant experience with BWR engineering analysis • Understanding of standard engineering work planning, scheduling, and independent work requiring judgment in applying engineering techniques • Extensive knowledge of BWR systems and integrated plant response • Extensive knowledge of nuclear engineering principles, including nuclear physics, thermal hydraulics, and mechanical design, as applied to BWR • Experience with standard engineering work planning and design process techniques • Ability to communicate with credibility and confidence
