📋 Description

• Serve as the primary interface for the Project Procurement Team Leader across a portfolio of projects • Coordinate sourcing, procurement, and logistics activities • Develop and maintain the project procurement execution plan • Align procurement milestones, supplier lead times, logistics activities, and project schedules • Maintain a consolidated procurement roadmap across the BTM portfolio • Own material and services quality, negotiated costs, and on-time delivery • Co-own the Engineering Procurement Plan where applicable • Coordinate with Engineering and Sourcing to obtain supplier documents on time • Own and monitor the material budget • Establish procurement schedules and monitor progress • Ensure procurement execution follows the project procurement execution plan • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks affecting critical project equipment • Follow up on timely closure of supplier-related NCPs • Support Sourcing in obtaining technical specifications from Engineering • Initiate or participate in periodic project meetings and track actions • Review supplier fulfillment of contractual Customs and duties requirements • Oversee supplier claim management with the Commodity Leader/Buyer • Report monthly progress, supplier claims, and project cost summaries • Update supplier cash out and project milestone recognition related to procurement • Represent Procurement in internal and external project meetings • Support compliance with Quality and EHS rules • Support the PPTL in achieving overall project targets

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in high voltage electrical construction project environment • Ability and willingness to travel domestic 40% of the time • Must comply with all relevant company travel and tax policies • Ability to work a flexible work schedule that includes overtime as required • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Supply Management preferred • Experience as Project Manager, Tender Project Manager, Senior Purchasing Manager, Senior Sourcing Manager or Sales Project Manager • Good understanding of legal/contractual aspects of an EPC contract • Risk management knowledge • Ability to work efficiently in cross-functional teams • Negotiation skills with suppliers or customers • General knowledge of purchasing standards, policies, procedures, and Sourcing management • Ability to coach and develop team members • Decision-making, problem-solving, and ability to independently resolve issues with difficult suppliers • Basics in scheduling/planning of large and complex projects • Technical knowledge of purchased products and power plant familiarity
