📋 Description

• Develop and maintain the project procurement execution plan, aligning procurement milestones, supplier lead times, and logistics activities with the project master schedule and delivery objectives • Develop and maintain a consolidated procurement roadmap across the BTM portfolio for resource alignment and sequencing of major procurement activities • Own quality, negotiated costs, and on-time delivery of project materials and services • Co-own the Engineering Procurement Plan where applicable • Coordinate with Engineering and Sourcing to ensure timely delivery of supplier documents, including drawings and quotations • Own and monitor the material budget • Establish the procurement schedule and monitor progress periodically • Ensure procurement execution follows the project procurement execution plan • Identify and manage supply chain risks affecting critical project equipment and implement mitigation strategies • Follow up on timely closure of supplier-related NCPs • Support Sourcing in obtaining technical specifications from Engineering on time • Participate in or initiate periodic project meetings with Quality, Lead Engineering, Planning, Logistics, Project Engineering Manager, and other functions; generate and follow up on meeting actions • Review supplier fulfillment of contractual Customs and duties requirements with relevant functions • Oversee supplier claim management in coordination with the Commodity Leader/Buyer • Report monthly progress, supplier claims, and project cost summaries • Update suppliers’ cash out and project milestone recognition related to procurement • Represent Procurement in internal and external project meetings where applicable • Support compliance with Quality and EHS rules applicable to the sourcing function • Support the PPTL in fulfilling overall project targets and work in alignment

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in high voltage electrical construction project environment • Ability and willingness to travel domestic 40% of the time • Must comply with all relevant company travel and tax policies • Ability to work a flexible work schedule that includes overtime as required • Experience as Project Manager, Tender Project Manager, Senior Purchasing Manager, Senior Sourcing Manager or Sales Project Manager • Good understanding of legal/contractual aspects of an EPC contract • Risk management knowledge • Ability to work efficiently in cross-functional teams • Negotiation skills either with supplier base or with customers • General knowledge of purchasing standards, policies, procedures, and Sourcing management • Ability to coach & develop team members • Decision making, problem solving, ability to independently resolve issues with difficult suppliers • Basics in scheduling/planning of large and complex projects • Technical knowledge of products purchased and power plant familiarity
