📋 Description

• Research, outline, and write technical content, including Operation and Maintenance Manuals, Installation Manuals, and Product Specifications • Ensure documentation is polished, engaging, and meets target-audience needs • Gather information from subject-matter experts and translate complex data from EPLAN schematics, Single Line Diagrams, and 3D models into concise text • Update existing product documentation at the factory level to reflect design changes • Maintain databases and repositories of reference materials • Follow GE Vernova branding and technical publication standards • Utilize and maintain standard templates for data sheets, product brochures, and safety procedures • Plan and conduct work routines to meet project deadlines • Provide feedback on tools and processes to support continuous improvement • Act as an interface between product and project teams • Work cross-functionally to deliver high-quality documentation and translations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or similar • Approximately 3–5 years of experience in technical writing, preferably within electric power components or systems • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Exposure to UL/IEC and Quality standards • Ability to solve technical problems with some guidance and identify limits of own knowledge to seek support • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail • Familiarity with DITA/XML, Madcap, Visio, or CMS systems is an asset • Fluent in English • Ability to present complex data clearly and concisely • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
