• Travel 100% to wind farms throughout North America on an 8/1 rotation • Perform blade Lockout/Tagout duties for GE wind turbines supporting blade repair operations • Monitor confined-space operations for internal blade repair work • Assist the blade repair team with work at height and on the ground • Interface with customers on site as needed • Operate the basket, rig and de-rig the blade access platform, and perform tag-lining • Help resolve problems related to the work scope • Maintain organized on-site supply inventory during repair operations • Perform miscellaneous operations support tasks as required by the team leader • Provide quality customer service, follow site rules, and pay attention to detail • Maintain personal, team, and site safety • Protect company property and interests while demonstrating professional conduct
• Current GE LOTO Certificate required: NAM Blade LOTO, NAM Tech Essentials, or RELC Tech Essentials; proof required • GE Qualified Electrical Worker 1 • Must have or be trained in GWO Basic Safety Training, OSHA 10, NFPA 70-E, and Confined Space • Ability to safely and correctly use powered hand tools • IT literacy, including email, internet, and iPad • Willingness and ability to travel extensively by air and ground transportation, often on short notice • Ability to drive or travel up to 11 hours per day when required • Flexibility for changes of scope and schedule • Ability to work well as a team and take guidance • Valid driver's license, good MVR report, and age 21 or older to drive a company vehicle • Ability to climb ladders two or more times daily up to 300 feet/90 meters, bend, crawl, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds • Ability to wear a respirator and work safely with protective equipment • Good vision, with corrective lenses if necessary • US/Canadian citizenship or legal authorization to work in either country • Ability to travel 100% on an 8/1 rotation throughout the year • Ability to travel by commercial airline to project sites throughout North America • Ability to meet physical demands including climbing turbines up to 125m+/400+ feet and lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds
