📋 Description

• Lead and oversee all pre-construction and construction activities across Giga Energy’s data center infrastructure project portfolio. • Manage projects through the full lifecycle from pre-construction planning to final energization. • Develop and maintain project execution plans, construction sequencing, logistics, temporary facilities, equipment access, storage, crane operations, and contractor mobilization. • Support construction budgets, cost estimates, bid packages, contractor scopes, and project schedules. • Review drawings, specifications, equipment requirements, contractor proposals, and constructability issues. • Coordinate civil, structural, architectural, fire protection, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, controls, communications, security, and equipment-installation scopes. • Support contractor procurement and bid leveling. • Establish responsibility matrices, work-package boundaries, turnover requirements, reporting, change management, RFI, submittal, document-control, and field communication processes. • Direct and coordinate field construction across contractors and trades. • Manage sequencing, site logistics, work fronts, contractor interfaces, and short-interval planning. • Maintain integrated construction schedules, track progress, identify critical-path impacts, and implement recovery plans. • Coordinate daily and weekly work planning with project stakeholders and site leadership. • Monitor contractor staffing, productivity, materials, equipment, and contractual performance. • Lead site coordination meetings and communicate priorities, constraints, decisions, and corrective actions. • Resolve field conflicts and drive RFIs, design clarifications, submittals, and technical decisions to closure. • Coordinate heavy equipment deliveries, inspections, storage, rigging, crane operations, setting, preservation, and installation. • Track procurement status and escalate long-lead equipment, material shortages, fabrication delays, and delivery risks. • Review contractor payment applications, progress quantities, change requests, and supporting documentation. • Maintain site records, including daily reports, photographs, manpower tracking, delivery records, field decisions, and schedule updates. • Manage punch-list execution, contractor demobilization, record-document completion, and turnover readiness.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field • 5+ years of experience in construction or energy project management; experience in utilities or modular infrastructure is preferred. • Proven experience managing complex contractor networks and large-scale procurement. • Strong understanding of permitting, utility coordination, and QA/QC procedures. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Procore, etc.). • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills. • Willingness to travel frequently to project sites in Texas and other geographies.
