• Contribute to short- and long-term Biostatistics strategies • Contribute to product development plans, global submission plans, and infrastructure development across Development functions and workstreams • Lead or support teams across multiple disease areas, a therapeutic area, or another significant Biometrics area • Consult with executives on future direction, prioritization of investments, and strategic business decisions • Direct complex, multifunctional programs and initiatives • Drive integration, interpretation, and strategic use of data from diverse internal and external sources • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic contributor to senior leadership • Develop subject-matter expertise within a therapeutic area, indication, or technical discipline • Communicate scientific and statistical concepts to internal and external audiences • Collaborate across Development and other functions to drive alignment, decision-making, and execution • Oversee a large, complex portfolio of programs and projects spanning multiple disease areas • Create inclusion, develop talent, and empower teams as a people leader
• 12+ years of experience with an MS or PhD • 14+ years of experience with a BA/BS • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • In-depth knowledge of the drug development process • Strong commitment to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and statistical principles • Strong leadership, critical thinking, and strategic acumen • Experience directing complex, multifunctional programs and initiatives • Experience integrating, interpreting, and strategically using diverse data sources • Experience providing strategic input to senior leadership • Subject-matter expertise in a therapeutic area, indication, or technical discipline • Expert-level knowledge of biostatistics and its evolving landscape • Preferred: 15+ years of progressive industry experience with an MS or 12+ years with a PhD in biostatistics • Preferred: experience advancing statistical analysis of biomedical data in complex development environments • Preferred: experience leading biostatistics strategy for hematologic malignancies and solid tumors, particularly cellular and/or gene therapies • Preferred: leadership relating to regulatory submission strategy, including advisory committees or oral explanations • Preferred: track record of publications • Preferred: ability to define and operationalize short- and long-term biostatistics strategies
