• Remain informed about local and national payer policies and acquisition pathways. • Proactively address coverage and reimbursement challenges to ensure timely treatment access. • Collaborate with Therapeutic Specialists, Marketing, Patient Support, and other internal teams. • Develop and manage relationships with providers, specialty pharmacies, and other key account stakeholders. • Serve as a regional reimbursement expert and identify and engage key customer accounts. • Assist the patient support program team with hub and FRM process improvements, including benefit verification and prior authorization education. • Communicate formulary and reimbursement process changes for Gilead products. • Create instructional resources for providers and office staff on reimbursement best practices. • Improve communication between FRMs and case managers through coordination with the Gilead HUB. • Identify patient-journey bottlenecks and use technology tools to respond to high-need cases. • Travel across designated regions and strategic accounts.
• Bachelor's Degree and eight years’ experience OR Master's Degree and six years’ experience OR Ph.D. • Candidates must reside within 10 miles of their region's borders. • BA/BS/RN with 8+ years of experience working for a major pharmaceutical organization on a field reimbursement, access, patient services, market access, account management, or related team. • MA/MS/PharmD with 6+ years of experience working for a major pharmaceutical organization in field reimbursement, access, patient services, market access, account management, or related role. • Prior leadership, enterprise account, IDN/health system, or cross-functional account strategy experience is strongly preferred. • Deep understanding of payers, providers, health systems, specialty pharmacies, and pharmaceutical companies in reimbursement and access. • Experience engaging with and managing large, complex provider accounts, multi-location health systems, IDNs, national/regional accounts, and/or accounts spanning multiple states or regions. • Familiarity with pharmacy benefits, medical benefits, specialty payer landscape, reimbursement pathways, and acquisition models across commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer segments. • Understanding of local, state, and national policy changes and their effect on reimbursement, coverage, acquisition, and account workflows. • Experience partnering with specialty pharmacies and HUB services. • Ability to influence without authority, align matrixed stakeholders, and translate account-level barriers into scalable process improvements. • Strong executive presence and comfort engaging C-suite or executive leadership, pharmacy directors, revenue cycle leaders, implementation leaders, and system stakeholders. • Willingness to travel 75% of the time across designated regions and strategic accounts.
