📋 Description

• Participate in the system-wide, physician-led Value Analysis process • Assess product function and cost across the Clinical Spend landscape using cost, quality, and patient outcome data • Identify opportunities while maintaining or improving quality and outcomes • Identify key stakeholders and establish ongoing relationships • Interface regularly with C-suite • Create multidisciplinary Value Analysis teams • Educate, direct, manage, and orient Value Analysis analysts, project managers, or coordinators • Educate and orient client Value Analysis Team members regarding processes and team roles • Collaborate with Value Analysis Team Chairs, Champions, and members • Prepare Value Analysis Committee Chairpersons and provide ongoing follow-up • Facilitate consensus among clinical stakeholders, resolve barriers, and complete clinical product cross matches • Review clinical spend landscapes, Spend Advisor, ERP reports, and new item reports to identify opportunities • Collaborate with Premier colleagues to provide One Premier solutions based on members’ needs • Review new product or product change requests and coordinate trials and evaluations • Identify utilization and waste reduction opportunities • Collaborate with Buyers and Analysts in support of Value Analysis • Strategize and negotiate with vendors • Develop meeting agendas, data presentations, and project plans • Communicate Value Analysis activities, results, and decisions throughout the enterprise

🎯 Requirements

• 5 or more years of applicable experience • High School Diploma or GED (Required) • 3+ years combined clinical experience in a procedural or critical care hospital setting • Direct Value Analysis experience • Experience in analyzing healthcare processes toward improving patient outcomes • Experience analyzing data, utilizing Excel • Experience creating PPT presentations • CVAHP, preferred or attained within 2 years of hire • Ability to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time • Ability to adapt and change priorities quickly and meet deadlines • Attention to detail • Ability to operate computer programs and software • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences in person and in electronic formats • Ability to make independent decisions • Ability to work in a collaborative business environment in close quarters with peers and varying interruptions • Travel 21-40% within the US • Sedentary physical demands
