⢠Represent Gilead's HIV Prevention products and services to a defined customer base ⢠Generate and grow sales by achieving or exceeding sales targets within the Tennessee territory ⢠Build relationships with healthcare providers through in-person representation, face-to-face meetings, and strategic partnerships ⢠Deliver disease awareness information, clinical updates, and education on healthcare changes ⢠Develop and execute a territory business plan aligned with customer needs and sales goals ⢠Monitor sales progress and adjust strategies to meet or exceed targets ⢠Maintain expertise in Gilead products, competitive products, and the therapeutic area disease state ⢠Promote appropriate use of Gilead products in accordance with Corporate, PhRMA, and OIG guidelines ⢠Partner with field reimbursement managers, medical scientists, and other field team members to support customer access and product operations ⢠Collaborate with healthcare organizations and partner companies, including co-promotion efforts ⢠Uphold compliance, ethical, regulatory, state, federal, and company policies ⢠Report adverse events promptly to Gilead's Drug Safety and Public Health department ⢠Perform administrative tasks including reporting call activity, updating customer information, submitting expenses, and managing the territory budget ⢠Stay current on technical and scientific product information, industry trends, and therapeutic-area changes ⢠Work autonomously to exceed personal goals and performance standards ⢠Contribute to Gilead's Inclusion & Diversity efforts
⢠High school and eleven years' experience OR associate degree and nine years' experience OR bachelor's degree and seven years' experience OR master's degree and five years' experience ⢠Ability to travel regularly within the assigned area ⢠Ability to satisfy healthcare practitioner onsite visitation requirements, including possible vaccinations, drug screenings, and background screenings ⢠Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily ⢠Valid driver's license required ⢠Minimum of seven years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry sales experience preferred ⢠Superior selling skills focused on highly competitive markets preferred ⢠Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives preferred ⢠Experience with specialty markets preferred ⢠Experience selling injectable physician-administered products preferred ⢠Familiarity with the managed care landscape preferred ⢠Experience selling a Buy and Bill product with proven sales success ⢠Experience managing a multiple-product portfolio ⢠Strong understanding of HIV prevention, disease states, treatment protocols, and competitive landscape ⢠Advanced communication and presentation skills for explaining complex clinical information ⢠Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional matrix environment ⢠Cultural awareness and comfort engaging in sexual-health conversations ⢠Ability to build and maintain internal and external partnerships ⢠Ability to work independently and take initiative ⢠Patient-centric approach to account management
