📋 Description

• Personally redline and negotiate every new contract from verbal commitment through signed MSA • Own supporting deal paperwork, including Service Orders, DPAs, BAAs, and addenda • Serve as the day-to-day contact for prospect legal and procurement counterparts • Gather required information from Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and leadership • Maintain clean and current deal records in HubSpot • Escalate genuine contract risks and non-standard terms to the VP of Sales • Own the full renewal paperwork cycle across 200+ clients, including new logos, upsells, and renewals • Coordinate with Customer Success on renewal timing, pricing, and term changes • Track the renewal calendar and prevent missed deadlines • Ensure executed agreements are filed and accurately reflected in HubSpot • Manage high-volume contract threads with an emphasis on throughput and accuracy • Report directly to the VP of Sales and collaborate across Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years personally negotiating and redlining contracts as an individual contributor • Experience in procurement, paralegal work, contracts administration, or higher-ed/nonprofit contracting is a strong fit; SaaS deal-desk experience is acceptable but not required • Direct, hands-on experience negotiating real contracts with external procurement, legal, or purchasing counterparts • Ability to hold firm in negotiations while maintaining relationships • Ability to manage 10–20 active contract threads simultaneously without letting anything slip • Fast and resourceful approach to finding internal information • HubSpot proficiency or equivalent CRM experience • Strong written communication skills • Experience with higher education, nonprofit, or healthcare procurement preferred • Exposure to HIPAA contracting and BAAs preferred • Experience in a fast-moving, high-growth company with limited support preferred • Ability to flex availability and work long hours when closing or renewal deadlines require it
