📋 Description

• Assist in weekly/monthly financial close activities and reporting • Assist with performing internal financial and performance audits • Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies and perform variance analysis • Participate in accounting activities including accounts receivable/payable, fixed assets accounting, and cash flow • Work with a variety of data sets to identify gaps, trends, provide fixes, and escalate issues • Prioritize workloads and make thoughtful time management decisions • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, effective working environment • Provide timely reports supporting company forecasting, budgeting, and financial data analysis • Participate in reporting and planning procedures with other leaders and executives • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance • 5+ years of Finance and Accounting experience • Familiarity with general ledger, creating journal entries, and account reconciliation • Familiarity with financial statements • Experience in a fast-paced environment • Demonstration of analytical skills and strong attention to detail • Demonstration of strong communication skills and organization • Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, QuickBooks, and other accounting software • Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
