📋 Description

• Participate in the monthly accounting close process • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses in accordance with U.S. GAAP and internal company policies • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for cash accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, prepaid expenses, and expense accruals • Support improvements to accounting processes with a focus on effective internal controls • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and footnotes • Improve account-close workpapers and processes, including leveraging AI tools for efficiency and accuracy • Partner with Finance to analyze historical results and improve information quality • Participate in automation, system implementation, and accounting best-practice projects • Assist with ad hoc projects and requests • Support internal teams with accounting-related operational needs • Work with the Accounting Manager and support Controllers while owning key elements of the financial close process • Interface with employees, vendors, partners, and related parties while completing assigned tasks accurately and timely

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience is required • Minimum 2+ years of relevant accounting experience is required • Strong foundational knowledge of U.S. GAAP • Ability to apply technical accounting knowledge to real-world business transactions • Solid written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation of work performed • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional team members • Must live and work in the United States, territories excluded • Access to reliable, high-speed internet
