📋 Description

• Maintain the General Ledger • Prepare financial statements, comparative reports, account reconciliations, and cost reports • Review, interpret, and analyze financial and statistical data for management • Develop special reports and financial analyses for administration and finance • Analyze financial reports and records for financial studies and management reports • Review and verify financial reports prepared by other accountants for accuracy • Oversee coding and input of data to the financial data processing system • Serve as a consultant regarding hospital financial affairs, operating policies and procedures, and department needs • Interact with outside auditors and participate in auditing projects • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for federal, state, or other regulatory agencies • Attend meetings and participate on committees • Represent the department at conferences, meetings, and working committees • Report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field of study • Three (3) years accounting, finance or related experience • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines • Strong analytical and conceptual skills • Oral and written communication skills • Interpersonal skills • Knowledge of GAAP preferred
