📋 Description

• Report to the Manager, Accounting • Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes • Review invoices daily • Prepare monthly journal entries • Perform monthly analytic explanations • Prepare various reports and financial reports for assigned divisions • Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly • Participate in monthly financial presentation meetings • Perform account research and analysis and prepare supporting schedules • Support, research, and resolve financial inquiries from internal and external customers • Analyze account balances and observe and explain variances • Assist with year-end audits, process improvement initiatives, staff training, department meetings, and ad-hoc projects • Adhere to applicable regulations and corporate policies and procedures • Train, advise, and mentor new Staff Accountants as needed

🎯 Requirements

• 2 or more years of applicable experience • Bachelor’s degree required • Knowledge of journal entries • Knowledge of month-end close • Knowledge of financial statements • Knowledge of analytic review • General knowledge of audit requirements • Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks and deadlines with little supervision • Ability to deal well with ambiguity and shift gears quickly and comfortably • Preferred experience with Microsoft Excel and Workday • Ability to meet deadlines and change priorities quickly • Attention to detail • Ability to operate computer programs and software • Ability to communicate effectively in person and electronically • Ability to make independent decisions • Ability to work collaboratively in close quarters with peers and varying interruptions
