📋 Description

• Oversee the company’s accounting operations • Prepare accurate financial reports • Maintain reliable accounting records • Implement effective controls and budgets to mitigate risk, improve financial accuracy, and ensure GAAP compliance • Perform accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, manual check application, aging reports, and account reconciliation • Enter routine journal entries and bank transactions • Enter accounts payable bills and credit card transactions as needed • Perform month-end closing and reconciliation • Reconcile, investigate, correct, and adjust accounting information • Perform bank reconciliation • Support department peers as needed • Work across multiple business units to gain operational knowledge and support departmental initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance • 1–2 years of accrual basis accounting experience, including accounts receivable, journal entries, month-end closing and reconciliation, and bank reconciliation • Regular and reliable attendance • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to interact within all levels of the organization • Ability to successfully plan, organize and manage projects • Detail-oriented, with excellent proofreading and editing skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize, and work independently • Self-motivated and directed • Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based • Must be willing to submit to a Level II background and/or security investigation with fingerprinting • Must be willing to submit to drug screening (does not apply in Canada)
