📋 Description

• Support development, alignment, and annual refresh of global Zero Waste goals, targets, and roadmaps • Maintain Zero Waste performance dashboards and scorecards at plant, regional, and enterprise levels • Track site-level action plans, escalate gaps, and highlight best practices • Coordinate Zero Waste governance routines, agendas, pre-read materials, action items, and follow-up • Support annual Resource Management and Chemical Management budgets for the US and Canada • Build and maintain budget tracking tools connecting forecasts, actuals, and variances • Coordinate purchase order requests, shopping carts, and change requests • Monitor purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoice issues and resolve discrepancies with Finance, Procurement, and suppliers • Provide spend analysis covering cost drivers, savings realization, and scenario analysis • Support Zero Waste and environmental capital expenditure planning, approvals, spend tracking, and benefits realization • Maintain a portfolio view of Zero Waste and environmental investments • Support biological control responsibilities for Metal Removal Fluids and the Metal Removal Fluids Strategy Team • Coordinate with plants, vendors, and technical experts to monitor treatment performance and operational issues • Identify optimization opportunities in dosing, equipment, logistics, and supplier performance • Analyze safety incidents, near misses, and risk identifications to detect patterns and risk-reduction opportunities • Develop visualizations, summaries, reports, dashboards, and recommendations for SP2 leadership and stakeholders • Aggregate and analyze waste, recycling, and diversion data across sites • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, emerging technologies, and service models • Support pilots, technology evaluations, KPI design, and results reporting • Provide benchmarking against peer companies and best-in-class service models • Maintain documentation, standards, procedures, playbooks, training content, meeting notes, and decision logs • Develop and refine common processes, templates, and tools • Ensure alignment with GM safety, compliance, and information management requirements • Coordinate cross-functional working sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing forums

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, Data Analytics, or related fields • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, operations, EH&S, environmental programs, or related discipline • Demonstrated experience with data analysis and reporting • Microsoft Excel proficiency • Experience with Power BI or similar tools is a plus • Experience supporting budgets, forecasts, or financial tracking, including spend, variance analysis, or savings tracking • Familiarity with enterprise systems for purchase orders and invoices, such as SAP or equivalent • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills • Ability to work with large datasets and multiple systems • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to summarize complex topics and influence stakeholders at different levels • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and follow through with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail • Experience in waste management, resource management, chemical management, environmental engineering, or industrial operations is preferred • Familiarity with Zero Waste concepts, waste hierarchy, and recycling/landfill diversion strategies is preferred • Experience with safety data and risk-reduction actions is preferred • Knowledge of biological treatment or biological control applications is preferred • Experience with manufacturing plants, logistics providers, or environmental service suppliers is preferred • Ability to develop or improve business processes, templates, and governance routines is preferred • Must not require GM immigration sponsorship now or in the future • Selected candidate will be required to travel less than 25%
