📋 Description

• Maintain accurate financial and accounting records • Record and categorize income, expenses, invoices, and payments • Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts • Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable • Assist with budgeting, cash-flow tracking, and financial forecasting • Review financial transactions for accuracy and completeness • Maintain organized documentation and supporting financial records • Assist with payroll-related accounting and expense tracking • Support month-end and year-end closing activities • Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly • Provide financial information and reports to management as requested • Maintain confidentiality of company financial information

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or a related field • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting • Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills • Excellent attention to detail and organization • Ability to work independently in a remote environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (preferred) • CPA, CMA, or other relevant certification (preferred) • Experience working with small businesses, education companies, or service-based organizations (preferred) • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management (preferred) • Availability during U.S. business hours preferred
