📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications • Develop and maintain databases and data collection systems • Support interoperability between healthcare and operational systems • Design automated workflows and reporting solutions • Develop APIs and interfaces supporting clinical and research applications • Support software lifecycle management activities • Implement cybersecurity controls and compliance requirements • Support analytics, data visualization, and business intelligence initiatives • Prepare technical documentation and user guides • Support evaluation and deployment of emerging technologies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience • Minimum two (2) years of software engineering, systems engineering, or data engineering experience • U.S. Citizenship required • Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Government suitability determination • Ability to obtain and maintain SECRET clearance if required • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications • Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines • Preferred: experience supporting DHA, DoD, VA, or federal healthcare systems • Preferred: experience with healthcare interoperability standards including HL7 and FHIR • Preferred: experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or enterprise databases • Preferred: experience supporting MHS GENESIS, DOEHRS-HC, ECAA, JHASIR, or similar systems • Preferred: experience developing research data collection platforms • Preferred: experience with Azure, AWS, or cloud-hosted environments • Preferred: experience developing analytics dashboards and reporting tools • Preferred: experience implementing automation, AI-assisted processes, or machine learning solutions • Preferred: familiarity with NIST 800-171, DFARS 252.204-7012, and DoD cybersecurity requirements • Preferred: experience supporting geographically dispersed teams, hybrid work environments, remote operations, or nationwide field activities • Preferred: current or prior experience supporting DHA, HCE, NMASC, DCPH, MHS, VHA, MTFs, hearing conservation programs, auditory readiness initiatives, or other military health and public health programs
