📋 Description

• Own product definition across key Moder capabilities • Translate customer problems into bounded product capabilities with clear acceptance criteria against working software • Use working software to resolve ambiguity early • Distinguish reusable product from customer-specific implementation and validate beyond the first customer • Work directly with Architecture, Build, and field/customer-facing teams • Participate in customer discovery where product judgment matters • Identify patterns across customers and turn the right patterns into reusable capabilities • Challenge requirements that add complexity without improving outcomes • Define what should be standardized versus configurable • Own commercial readiness for packaged capabilities, including buyer, value, pricing, packaging, and product economics • Improve speed from customer problem to working software and from working software to validated product decision • Help develop product talent inside Moder • Manage direct reports, including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and resolving complaints and problems • Comply with company policies and procedures • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Significant product leadership experience in complex software, workflow, or enterprise platforms • Deep knowledge of mortgage, lending, servicing, or closely related financial services • Track record of turning customer-specific work into reusable product • Strong understanding of operator workflows • Experience making decisions across technical, operational, commercial, and customer constraints • Technical fluency to work credibly with architects and engineers • Commercial fluency in buyer, value, price, packaging, adoption, and expansion • Experience with AI-enabled workflows, automation, or enterprise software • Strong written communication and product judgment • Ability to simplify, make decisions with incomplete information, challenge senior stakeholders when evidence does not support the decision, and move quickly without lowering standards • Preferred: experience across mortgage origination, servicing, secondary market, or mortgage operations • Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance • None required for certificates, licenses, or registrations
