📋 Description

• Own GoodPower's Renewables team intelligence stack supporting siting and permitting campaigns • Lead roadmap development, reliability, release cadence, and deployment into live campaigns • Own CleanCast, GoodPower's GIS-driven county scoring and permitting-timeline platform • Own project sourcing and lifecycle tools from first engagement through final outcome • Set direction for new platform development and deployment of agentic AI workflows • Define quality control for outputs and determine whether releases meet campaign-use standards • Make county scoring, moratorium clocks, and hearing timelines usable by campaign staff • Build agenda detection that triggers rapid response • Translate Renewables team requirements into usable products with Engineering & Product and Innovation Lab • Train and support campaign staff on the tools • Set priorities and product delivery with Engineering & Product and Innovation Lab • Hold reliability and data quality standards • Build or prototype directly when faster • Package the intelligence stack as a fundable ask • Brief funders directly and address technical questions • Build CleanCast's standing among developers and the state regulatory ecosystem • Report stack performance, adoption, and roadmap to senior leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in product or data leadership, drawn from civic tech, political and campaign data, energy market intelligence, or a comparable field • Track record shipping data products that non-technical operators actually use, evidenced by adoption • Enough technical depth to coordinate with engineers and set architecture direction, including agentic AI workflows • Experience owning a roadmap end to end, including prioritization, tradeoffs, release, reliability, and sunset decisions • Strong judgment about data quality and its limits • Exceptional communication and writing skills • Ability to turn technical work into a clear written case • Ability to explain technical work to lay audiences • Comfort operating in a campaign environment where deadlines are set externally • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience • Willingness to travel • Direct experience with geospatial data and unorganized datasets • Experience with power sector datasets including permitting, siting, land-use, or utility regulatory data • Familiarity with public docket and public comment systems, including participation-integrity analysis • Experience building the funding case for infrastructure or tooling
