📋 Description

• Manage $10M to $15M of revenue across an assigned geography • Manage Operations Managers and On-Site Coordinators • Ensure transportation services exceed customer expectations and meet budgeted financial goals • Monitor customer service performance and resolve issues with immediate resolution and action plans • Ensure Operations Managers meet with clients and complete visit documentation • Meet with customers quarterly to assess service • Monitor company KPIs and customer metrics • Lead implementation of new business as needed • Monitor recruiting efforts and courier resource availability • Monitor Courier Job Acceptance Logs • Monitor independent-contractor compliance with contractual requirements • Ensure gross margin exceeds budgeted targets • Review and approve driver-pay activities • Identify and implement margin-improvement opportunities • Develop and coach direct reports through training and experiential learning • Monitor Operations Managers’ activities and effectiveness

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required • 7+ years of experience in transportation • Proficient computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and database software • Ability to work from home with travel throughout assigned area as required • Ability to work additional hours to deal with operational issues when necessary • Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean, functional vehicle • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion • Ability to establish trust and credibility in the organization • Proactive and resourceful; able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills • Excellent interpersonal skills for driver and customer interactions • Ability to understand the independent contractor relationship • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
