📋 Description

• Process buyout requests and terminations of wholesale customer agreements • Draft and review correspondence, ancillary transaction documents, amendments, consents, notices, and other contract-related materials • Maintain and update the contracts and matter tracker • Provide regular status reports to the Deputy General Counsel and senior leadership • Review and improve standard supply, consignment, and lease templates • Identify process improvements for contract intake, drafting turnaround, and legal support for operational teams • Perform other related duties as assigned • Report to the Deputy General Counsel

🎯 Requirements

• 2–5 years of transactional or corporate legal experience, in-house or at a law firm • Juris Doctorate • Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state • Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts • Familiarity with supply, distribution, lease, or M&A transactions preferred • Familiarity with commercial contract law • Knowledge of UCC Article 2 and Article 9 principles • Familiarity with standard secured transaction and M&A documentation • Strong analytical/logical mindset and attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high volume of concurrent matters • Ability to prioritize under tight time constraints • Ability to work autonomously and in a team setting • Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Fuel, Logistics, Real Estate, Credit, and Risk Management • Admission in Virginia or Texas preferred
