📋 Description

• Receive and process incoming faxes promptly and accurately • Sort and distribute faxes to appropriate departments • Attach faxed documents to patient charts • Use coordination notes to ensure correct staff are notified of new information • Process new referrals received through faxes and export them to HCHB • Ensure confidentiality and security of faxed documents • Communicate with clients and internal staff to confirm receipt of important documents • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed • Operate in a clerical office setting using computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines • May travel by automobile and be exposed to changing weather conditions

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • Proficient in medical terminology • Proficiency in using fax systems • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email and document management systems • Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role preferred • Previous role working in a medical setting preferred • Must have and maintain in good standing professional license, certificate, or registration, as applicable • Successful completion of a drug screen prior to employment • Legally authorized to work in the United States
