📋 Description

• Assist customers by telephone by selecting the right product • Provide post-sales support • Answer product application and troubleshooting questions for a large range of Grainger products • Communicate with external customers, including end-users, maintenance technicians and contractors • Communicate with internal customers, including parts and sourcing specialists, sales, and branch team members • Provide technical product support by telephone while using multiple computer programs and applications simultaneously • Identify solutions and document customer conversations • Navigate websites, conduct web searches, and conduct product searches using the Grainger online catalog • Follow established processes and published schedules when customer need is greatest • Use industry-related experience, formal vendor training, and on-the-job learning to maintain technical expertise • Capture and forward product feedback to product teams based on interactions with customers and field team members

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant job experience or hands-on field experience in the application, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of material handling, cleaning and security products, systems and equipment • Experience with Industrial Controls and Automation • Proficiency in computer use • Ability to navigate different applications at the same time with multiple screens/dual monitors • Ability to work Monday-Friday, 10:30am-7pm CST
