📋 Description

• Build and operate Gravie's shared engineering platform, including CI/CD pipelines, service templates, deployment tooling, and shared infrastructure services • Own multi-account AWS infrastructure as code using Terraform, CDK, or both • Implement and sustain paved paths in partnership with architecture • Provide on-call support, incident response, postmortems, and systemic remediation for platform services • Build default observability with metrics, logs, traces, SLOs, and actionable alerts • Own platform security posture, including identity and permission boundaries, secrets, network and data isolation, and remediation in HIPAA and SOC 2 environments • Improve cloud cost attribution and visibility through tagging and waste reduction • Use and integrate AI agents for code review, alert triage, migrations, and repetitive remediation • Automate platform toil and measure results • Maintain documentation and developer onboarding • Drive adoption, standards, and migration of existing services • Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and help teams use AI tooling effectively

🎯 Requirements

• Five or more years of software or infrastructure engineering experience, including ownership of production systems that you also operated • Deep AWS expertise, including IAM policy evaluation, VPC routing and DNS, and container or serverless runtime behavior • Hands-on ownership of a multi-account AWS environment, including identity boundaries, networking, managed data services, and cost and tagging governance • Infrastructure as code experience in Terraform, CDK, or both, including review, testing, and blast-radius analysis • Strong CI/CD engineering, including shared or templated pipelines consumed by more than one team • Experience working in or closely with a platform, infrastructure, or developer experience team • Experience using AI tooling such as Claude Code for meaningful multi-step engineering work • Production operations experience: on-call, incident response, postmortems, and SLO thinking • Strong programming ability in Python, Go, TypeScript, or a JVM language • Sound judgment on security, secrets, access control, and data handling • Clear written communication • Healthcare or another regulated domain, HIPAA, and SOC 2 obligations preferred • Venture-backed high-growth company experience preferred • GitLab CI at scale preferred • Datadog, ECS or Kubernetes, AI tooling development, Renovate, DORA, Team Topologies, and platform decommissioning experience preferred • Authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship question is included in the application
