📋 Description

• Own the monthly close process and partner with external accounting partners to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting • Oversee order-to-cash, including invoicing, customer payments, collections, and revenue operations • Review and approve employee expense reports • Manage GAAP-compliant revenue recognition and financial reporting • Oversee cash management, liquidity planning, and runway forecasting • Develop financial reporting, KPI dashboards, and executive reporting • Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts across departments • Build financial models for hiring plans, GPU and infrastructure spend, product initiatives, and strategic investments • Develop scenario analyses and long-range planning models • Partner with leadership on pricing, resource allocation, investment prioritization, and business planning • Prepare analyses and narratives for executives, investors, and Board meetings • Deliver recommendations on growth, efficiency, margins, and capital allocation • Evaluate, select, and implement ERP and financial systems • Build scalable finance processes, internal controls, policies, and automation • Leverage AI to improve forecasting, reporting, and financial operations • Partner with Accounting, Operations, and leadership on company-wide initiatives • Serve as the primary finance business partner across the organization • Support fundraising, investor diligence, strategic planning, and special projects • Balance hands-on execution with strategic leadership as an individual contributor and functional leader

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or finance leadership within high-growth technology companies • Experience building or scaling finance functions in startup or rapidly growing environments • Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, monthly close, revenue recognition, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management • Exceptional financial modeling skills, including investment analyses, scenario planning, operating models, and board-level reporting • Experience partnering directly with executive leadership on strategic decisions • Ability to own finance strategy and day-to-day operational execution • Experience evaluating and implementing ERP systems or finance technology platforms • Strong executive communication skills • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and a bias toward action • Curiosity about AI and interest in using modern AI tools for financial planning and operational decision-making • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and build new processes • CPA, MBA, or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business is a bonus, not required • Experience at a Series A or Series B SaaS startup is a bonus • Experience with NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Oracle, Workday, Adaptive Planning, Rippling, or similar ERP/FP&A platforms is a bonus • Experience supporting venture fundraising, investor relations, and Board reporting is a bonus • Understanding of SaaS metrics including ARR, burn multiple, CAC, gross margin, and cash runway is a bonus • Experience partnering with engineering organizations or evaluating infrastructure investments is a bonus • Experience building finance organizations from the ground up is a bonus
