Founded by professionals with experience as both suppliers and wholesalers, the company focuses on leveling the playing field by helping independent alcohol brands expand retail placement (including direct store delivery) and take market share from larger competitors.

📋 Description

• Identify target accounts and build relationships with on- and off-premises staff, retail managers, and customer sales personnel • Leverage relationships with key accounts to sell in distribution • Support team members in an intense, fast-paced environment • Educate trade and consumers through samplings, meetings, and trainings • Support the local team with staff training • Use Encompass, Microsoft Office Suite, and other software to track activities, results, contacts, tasks, and output • Maintain and enhance the network of points of distribution • Achieve monthly sales and placement goals in the assigned territory • Direct distributor sales forces and develop key retail customer relationships

🎯 Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of sales experience with a supplier or distributor • Spirits background would be ideal • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Must have and provide valid Driver’s License and auto insurance that is in force • Ability and willingness to occasionally work non-traditional hours, such as nights and weekends • Strong interpersonal skills to direct the distributor sales forces and develop key retail customer relationships • Familiarity with the local market • Must be at least 21 years old • Ability to work remotely • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, handle documents, bend and stoop as needed, and reach with hands and arms • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Must be able to verbally communicate with others and exchange accurate information • Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and distinguish sound and perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels, with or without correction • Must be comfortable with various noise levels, including loud environments • Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
