📋 Description

• Commission and complete retrofits on industrial-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) • Report product non-conformances discovered during commissioning to project management • Ensure team adherence to best practices and work instructions • Provide quality workmanship and maintain good housekeeping practices • Evaluate product condition and quality to verify systems are assembled and wired correctly • Functionally test electrical circuits operating from 24 VDC to 1500 VDC • Troubleshoot and repair integrated systems • Perform enhanced startup procedures and functional tests according to applicable manuals • Provide technical assistance to other technicians • Travel extensively, including overtime work on weekends • Adhere to quality and safety codes

🎯 Requirements

• Prior electrical experience required • 2 years of electrical experience required • Previous experience in large-scale industrial job sites • Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals • Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills • Valid driver's license • Good oral and written communication skills in English • Basic computer skills • Strong attention to detail • Ability to use hand and powered tools • Ability to work independently and unsupervised • Ability to supervise and instruct subcontractor personnel • Ability to team-lift up to 100 lbs • Must be able to pass a drug test • Background check required • Prior work in a 40-cal arc-flash suit wanted
