📋 Description

• Support wastewater treatment systems and customers across multiple locations • Conduct field inspections and troubleshoot equipment • Perform system maintenance and collect wastewater samples • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and wastewater discharge permits • Review WWTP process operating data and recommend performance and efficiency improvements • Diagnose operating problems and implement corrective actions • Visit WWTPs and client sites independently to assess operations and provide technical assistance • Provide relief operator support at client facilities as needed • Perform bench testing to evaluate system performance and treatment effectiveness • Create and manage client operational logs and records • Generate and update SOPs, startup plans, preventive maintenance schedules, and lubrication programs • Provide onsite training and technical guidance to operators and facility personnel • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and customers to complete project scopes on time and within budget • Obtain vendor quotations for equipment, parts, and services • Create internal purchase requests and assist with procurement activities • Conduct pilot studies and field evaluations as required • Complete field service reports, operational records, and compliance documentation • Provide onsite emergency support and assist with system recovery efforts • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company environmental, health, and safety requirements • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED • 2+ years of experience in wastewater treatment, water treatment, environmental services, utilities, or a related field • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, including overnight travel • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong communication and documentation skills • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions • Ability to climb ladders, enter confined spaces (with training), and stand for extended periods • Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) • Preferred: Wastewater Operator Certification • Preferred: Associate's degree or technical certification in environmental science, water technology, engineering technology, or related field • Preferred: Experience with pumps, controls, instrumentation, and SCADA systems • Preferred: Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and environmental regulations
