📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models • Build and optimize DAX measures, calculated columns, and other DAX expressions • Design and maintain data models and relationships for accurate, scalable, and performant reporting • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, analyze, and validate backend data • Work with ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformation processes • Connect Power BI to Azure, Microsoft Fabric, SQL, and other data sources • Develop interactive dashboards and reports communicating KPIs, trends, metrics, and business insights • Troubleshoot data, modeling, DAX, and report-level issues • Collaborate with Data Engineers, Developers, and business stakeholders to resolve issues • Perform functional and data validation of Power BI solutions • Analyze discrepancies between source data and Power BI outputs • Participate in requirements discussions and translate business needs into data models, measures, dashboards, and visualizations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field • 5+ years of experience in Power BI development, business intelligence, data analytics, or related data-focused roles • Hands-on experience building and maintaining Power BI reporting solutions • Strong experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards, including data visualization, report navigation, filtering, drill-throughs, and interactive reporting • Demonstrated expertise with DAX, including measures, calculated columns, calculated tables, time-intelligence calculations, and DAX optimization • Strong SQL experience for querying, transforming, and validating relational and cloud-based data • Practical ETL/ELT and data pipeline experience • Experience designing and maintaining data models, relationships, dimensions, facts, calculated measures, and semantic models • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric ecosystems • Ability to perform functional validation and data quality checks on Power BI reports and dashboards • Strong experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service • Experience with dimensional modeling, fact and dimension tables, relationships, star schemas, and semantic models • Experience translating business requirements into KPIs, dashboards, reports, data visualizations, and reporting solutions • Basic experience validating report functionality, data accuracy, calculations, filters, and visual behavior • Advanced English proficiency, written and verbal • Strong analytical mindset • Excellent documentation skills for clear, reproducible, and repeatable test cases and bug reports • Ability to collaborate with Data Engineers, Developers, and Product Stakeholders • High attention to detail, organizational discipline, and technical ownership over data reliability
