• Lead day-to-day execution of the Alliance’s four pillars: Open Specifications, Capability Standards, Accreditation Programs, and Research and Intelligence • Translate Executive Council and Technical Steering Committee direction into an operating plan, timeline, and budget • Coordinate with the Consortium for Responsible IT Services partnership on accreditation program design • Staff and support the Executive Council and Technical Steering Committee by preparing agendas, materials, and minutes and tracking decisions and follow-through • Ensure Working Groups operate with written charters, documented agendas, and recorded minutes and remain open to all Alliance members • Track quorum, voting, and decision-making requirements across governing bodies • Recruit and retain Founding Parties, Alliance Partners, and GTIA Full Members participating in the Alliance • Support publication of the first open specifications and capability standards under the GTIA banner • Ensure compliance with antitrust policy, accreditation criteria, appeals processes, and GTIA Legal sign-off requirements • Uphold vendor-neutral governance and freely accessible standards for GTIA members • Prepare the Alliance Annual Budget and manage spending within the approved budget • Use GTIA’s existing legal, finance, research, events, and marketing infrastructure • Maintain Alliance messaging and materials consistently with GTIA brand guidelines • Represent the Alliance at GTIA events, including ChannelCon, and in public communications about standards releases and research findings • Build trusted working relationships with board members and move the Alliance from charter to running program
• Demonstrated experience running or supporting a governing body through structured decision-making, including votes, quorum, and consensus processes, or comparable cross-organizational governance experience • Strong working knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn, antitrust considerations in standards-setting or multi-vendor collaboration contexts • Excellent stakeholder management skills across vendor executives, ITSP leaders, and internal GTIA teams • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Familiarity with the IT channel ecosystem or a comparable multi-stakeholder technology ecosystem • Experience building or scaling a program, category, or ecosystem from an early state • Background working alongside or within a standards body, vendor alliance, or responsible AI/governance initiative • Prior experience reporting to or staffing a board or executive council, or leading a cross-functional initiative with senior executive stakeholders • Degree preferred but not required • 7+ years in a leadership role spanning standards development, industry association or nonprofit management, technology channel operations, alliance/consortium leadership, partner ecosystem or program management, or a multi-stakeholder governance environment • Experience in IT channel sales or working with IT Solution Providers (ITSPs/MSPs) is a plus
