• Oversee day-to-day operations for assigned teams while maintaining service levels and operational standards • Align technology support, service delivery, automation, monitoring, and operational capabilities with business objectives • Lead, mentor, and develop a team in modern support practices, automation, AI-enabled service delivery, and operational response • Define and maintain a shared services catalog for file feed operations, communications, and cross-functional operational support • Operate intake, triage, and prioritization processes for operational requests • Balance capacity across service lines and report portfolio health, volumes, and trends to operations leadership • Build collaborative relationships across business units • Own operational performance of inbound eligibility, demographic, and payroll file feeds • Own operational performance of outbound claim, leave, and status file feeds to insurance carrier partners • Maintain file specifications, mapping documentation, and validation rules with IT and Data teams • Translate carrier partner requirements, including LIMRA Data Exchange (LDEx) standards, into versioned feed specifications • Represent operations in Product prioritization for feed defects, enhancements, and partner commitments • Triage file failures and drive root-cause remediation • Manage the eligibility data quality backlog • Coordinate onboarding, testing, changes, transitions, conversions, and migrations for feeds • Partner on API adoption and decommissioning of legacy feeds • Develop documentation, training, and playbooks for routine feed questions • Own operational readiness, requirements, testing, and rollout for transformation and platform initiatives • Lead strategic operational projects from initiation through delivery • Serve as primary operational contact for carrier partners, clients, and vendors on file feed matters • Establish monitoring, alerting, reconciliation controls, and KPI/SLA reporting • Review reconciliation outputs and identify data discrepancies • Apply predictive insights and AI capabilities to detect anomalies and reduce manual review • Identify AI and automation opportunities in validation, triage, reconciliation, correspondence, and customer support workflows • Share lessons learned to scale AI-enabled practices • Ensure operations comply with regulatory, contractual, privacy, data handling, and organizational requirements • Maintain documentation, controls, policies, and procedures; support audit readiness and proactively address compliance concerns
• High school diploma required • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred • An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered • 5+ years of management experience required • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in shared services, business operations, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), file integration, or data exchange operations within benefits, insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, or consumer goods environments • Direct responsibility for inbound and outbound data feeds or comparable operational service lines • Experience supervising staff or leading small teams, including setting priorities, coaching, and managing quality • Experience partnering with internal IT, Data, or engineering teams on file specifications, data quality remediation, and integration builds • Experience partnering with Product, platform, or software vendor teams on requirements definition, prioritization, and release management for partner-facing data deliverables • Experience with absence, disability, benefits, or claims administration platforms • Familiarity with reporting or query tools such as Structured Query Language (SQL) preferred • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills • Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, carrier partners, and internal leaders • Curiosity and comfort with artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite • Consistent and reliable high-speed internet and workspace free from distraction, disruption, or noise required • Ability to be present on camera during work-related trainings, meetings, and/or events • Ability to sit or stand at a desk for prolonged periods while working on a computer
