📋 Description

• Manage coding teams assigned to coding projects • Oversee the maintenance of medical records and the coding of data from medical records • Participate in preparing reports and correspondence regarding patient admissions, treatment, discharges, and deaths • Ensure compliance with departmental policies and legal requirements governing release of medical information • Collaborate with providers, healthcare professionals, and coding teams • Ensure clinical information is present and accurate in medical records • Support appropriate utilization, clinical severity, outcomes, and quality capture for the level of service rendered • Ensure compliant reimbursement of patient care services • Provide project quality oversight

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 7 years of medical coding/management experience • 7 years of prior medical coding/management experience • CCS or CPC (Certified Medical Coding certifications) • Responsible for project quality oversight • Must be a US Citizen • Willing to undergo a federal background check as part of the onboarding process • Federal or Military Coding experience (nice to have)
