📋 Description

• Lead defined workstreams within healthcare strategy and transformation engagements, owning day-to-day execution, analytic outputs, and storyline development. • Translate ambiguous client needs into structured problem solving by framing problems, developing hypotheses, designing workplans, and driving execution. • Apply commercial payer/provider expertise to federal health challenges. • Perform and guide quantitative and qualitative analysis, turning findings into decision-ready implications. • Develop executive-ready PowerPoint deliverables and brief written products. • Support operational and performance transformation by mapping current state, identifying pain points, designing target-state processes/operating models, and defining governance and metrics. • Plan and lead working sessions, interviews, and workshops; synthesize inputs; and manage client and internal stakeholder communications. • Coach and mentor junior staff through delegation, quality review, and actionable feedback. • Contribute to internal capability building, thought leadership, templates, accelerators, proposals, and capture efforts.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree. • 3+ years of experience in consulting and/or healthcare industry roles. • Demonstrated experience in healthcare strategy and/or transformation, with exposure to payer/provider, operating models, or performance improvement. • Strong understanding of commercial payer/provider environments, including reimbursement/payment fundamentals and how policy and payment structures affect outcomes. • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data. • Advanced Excel proficiency. • Proven ability to lead workstreams, build client-ready deliverables, and communicate effectively (written and verbal). • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (i.e. US Citizenship required). • Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%). • Preference will be given to candidate within 50 miles of Guidehouse's McLean, VA, office. • Commercial payer/provider experience is prioritized. • Depth in commercial payer functions is nice to have. • Provider-side strategy/ops experience is nice to have. • Experience supporting federal health programs (VA strongly preferred) is nice to have. • Experience with analytics-enabled transformation is nice to have. • MBA/MHA/MPH or other relevant advanced degree is nice to have.
