📋 Description

• Design Azure cloud solutions with a secure-by-design approach • Collaborate with customer IT teams to implement and secure cloud resources • Develop scalable and resilient Azure Commercial and Azure Gov Cloud architectures • Develop migration strategies and plans from on-premises environments to Azure • Secure Microsoft Entra ID and Azure-based systems and data • Create architectural and data flow diagrams • Develop and deploy IaC using Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep, and PowerShell • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, monitoring, and alerting • Evaluate and recommend Azure services based on business requirements • Integrate Azure solutions with new and existing systems and applications • Serve as SME for Azure AI Foundry, including generative AI, machine learning, RAG, Responsible AI, content safety, and guardrails • Secure AI workloads using private endpoints, managed identities, customer-managed keys, and least-privilege access • Serve as SME for Azure API Management and design secure, scalable API gateways • Author APIM policies for OAuth 2.0, JWT validation, mutual TLS, rate limiting, caching, transformation, and routing • Design APIM as a GenAI gateway for Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI • Integrate APIM with Entra ID, Application Gateway/WAF, private networking, and self-hosted gateways • Establish API governance, lifecycle management, developer portals, and observability • Define and maintain Azure governance policies, including subscription, cost, security, identity, and deployment policies • Support DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines • Lead technical discussions and presentations for internal teams and customers • Produce customer deliverables, internal procedures, and delivery playbooks • Train and mentor staff on Azure technologies • Participate in strategic planning, training material, and tool development • Stay current with emerging Azure technologies and perform other duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience building or managing cloud environments in medium to large companies • Professional certification in Azure, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar preferred • Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends • Proficient in Azure services, including Entra ID, Azure Virtual Networks/Machines, Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Private Link/Private Endpoint • SME-level proficiency in Azure AI Foundry, including model catalog and deployment, AI agents, prompt flow, RAG architectures, evaluations, and Responsible AI/content safety controls • SME-level proficiency in Azure API Management, including gateway architecture, policy authoring, API security and versioning, developer portal, self-hosted gateways, and GenAI/AI gateway use • Experience with Azure OpenAI and generative AI patterns, including prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector/semantic search • Hands-on experience with AKS, Azure Container Registry, and Azure Container Apps • Working knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud • Familiarity with Azure Well-Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework landing zones • Proficiency with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and at least one general-purpose language such as Python • Experience designing Zero Trust architectures and security controls for AI and API workloads • Experience with FinOps and Azure cost management, including AI token consumption and API usage costs • Relevant Azure certifications such as AI-102, AZ-500, or AZ-700 are a plus • Must pass either CCSK or (ISC)2 Certified Cloud Security Professional within 6 months of joining • Experience with cloud security, networking, and disaster recovery best practices • Strong knowledge of IaC tools such as ARM templates or Terraform • Experience with network security best practices and configurations • Strong troubleshooting, attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills • Ability to solve technical, managerial, or operational problems and evaluate options • Ability to use emerging AI technologies to improve business outcomes • Sedentary work; substantial wrist, hand, and/or finger movement and close visual acuity for at least 8 hours daily
