📋 Description

• Design and implement end-to-end Microsoft Entra ID environments, including tenant architecture, dynamic groups, administrative units, and identity lifecycle management at scale • Design and implement Conditional Access, Global Secure Access, token protection, authentication strengths, MFA/passwordless, PIM, RBAC, access reviews, and entitlement management • Own hybrid identity design and troubleshooting across Entra Connect, Cloud Sync, Entra Connect Health, on-premises Active Directory, authentication methods, federation, and Entra Domain Services • Design and support identity federation and integration between Entra ID and Okta, Ping Identity, ADFS, and other SAML/OIDC identity providers • Integrate applications using SSO, SAML/OIDC, enterprise app registrations, SCIM provisioning, application proxy, and Global Secure Access • Design and implement Entra External ID for B2B/B2C partner- and customer-facing scenarios • Design and implement workload identity solutions including Managed Identities and Workload Identity Federation • Investigate and remediate identity risks using Entra ID Protection, sign-in and audit logs, and Entra recommendations • Drive hybrid identity hygiene, including stale-object cleanup, privileged-account reduction, and tiered administrator models • Support adjacent Microsoft security workstreams involving Azure, Microsoft Purview, Intune, and Defender XDR • Own technical delivery independently with an 80% utilization target • Manage time and communication within assigned client engagements • Partner with principal consultants and own the identity workstream across varied client environments • Contribute to internal practice development and knowledge sharing between projects • Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to GuidePoint Security Core Values

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree • 3–5+ years of hands-on, production experience specifically in Microsoft Entra ID, in addition to broader IT administration, identity management, or security operations experience • Deep working knowledge of Conditional Access, MFA/passwordless, PIM, RBAC, access reviews, and entitlement management • Strong hands-on experience with hybrid identity, including Entra Connect/Cloud Sync and on-premises Active Directory • Knowledge of SAML, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, Kerberos, LDAP, and SCIM • Experience integrating or migrating identity with Okta, Ping, ADFS, or similar identity providers alongside or into Entra ID • Ability to troubleshoot complex identity issues independently, including sign-in failures, sync errors, and token/claims issues • Basic to intermediate PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting, such as Microsoft Graph PowerShell • Experience embracing emerging technologies, including AI tools • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail • Clear written and verbal communication for client-facing identity conversations • Sedentary work capability • Substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers for a minimum of 8 hours a day • Close visual acuity for computer-terminal viewing and/or extensive reading for a minimum of 8 hours a day
