📋 Description

• Answer telephone calls promptly and professionally • Obtain and enter accurate demographic information into the electronic medical record • Answer patient questions and provide patient-focused service • Support improvements to call flow processes and communication services • Meet and exceed call volume standards • Adhere to HIPAA and company policies • Direct calls to other departments as needed • Handle calls involving upset patients using sound judgment • Escalate calls to physicians, practice managers, or triage nurses when appropriate • Make reminder and appointment-rescheduling calls • Assist with callbacks and other projects as call volume permits • Manage multiple clients in a fast-paced environment • Handle a high volume of phone calls, with a minimum of 6 hours per shift • Maintain regular, reliable attendance during scheduled hours • Deliver one-on-one customer service support to patients across the United States

🎯 Requirements

• 1+ years of healthcare, sales, or customer service experience • 1+ years of call center experience preferred • 1+ years of medical or healthcare environment experience preferred • Previous medical scheduling experience preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook • Proficient with Internet use, technology, software applications, and phone systems • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information • Ability to work quickly and multitask in a call center environment • Ability to use several systems and multiple monitors simultaneously • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively to identify opportunities to improve results • Able to work remotely from home in a private HIPAA-compliant workspace • Able to house company equipment needed to perform the job • Broadband Internet access required • Internet download speed of at least 24 Mbps and upload speed of at least 4 Mbps • Ability to hear in the normal range and wear a headset or earpiece • Good visual acuity to read computer screens, scripts, and forms • Must successfully complete a background check, drug screening, and identity verification process before employment • Immigration or work visa sponsorship will not be provided • Must maintain regular, reliable attendance during scheduled hours
