• Position analytics functions as the engine behind the data-driven Health Services Operating System • Implement a Unified KPI & Operating Performance Dashboard • Capture automation and AI-driven efficiencies within analytics functions • Identify business process improvement opportunities across Health Services Operations to improve member health outcomes, reduce administrative and medical expense, and improve member experience • Translate data, advanced analytics, and AI-powered insights into measurable business outcomes • Ensure adoption of Analytics Domain architecture within Health Services Analytics • Lead migration from legacy platforms to modern cloud-based solutions • Define and own the Health Services Analytics North Star and phased implementation strategy • Establish and govern a unified analytics operating model, intake process, prioritization framework, data product strategy, governance model, enterprise metrics, transformation layer, and AI enablement roadmap • Implement an Analytics Product Roadmap and track value realization • Participate in operating rhythm governance forums for operational engines • Operate a disciplined management system including staff meetings, 1:1s, skip-levels, roadmap revisions, and structured operating rhythms • Design, build, and maintain a comprehensive Health Services Operations KPI inventory • Deliver the Unified KPI & Operating Performance Dashboard as the single source of truth • Build and own a standardized transformation layer with metric definitions, pipelines, business logic, enrichment layers, and quality checks • Shift work toward advanced analytics, predictive models, AI-enabled workflows, and proactive intelligence • Develop and execute the AI enablement roadmap • Implement automated reporting, self-service dashboards, and decision-support tools • Lead predictive model and AI/ML use-case development • Own TCOC connectivity analytics and quantify, track, and validate affordability opportunities • Support subfunction lever playbooks with KPI, cost category, cost mechanism, and analytics cadence definitions • Build, lead, and develop the Health Services Analytics team • Define staffing model, workforce mix, onshore/offshore/vendor split, and productivity expectations • Upskill, restructure, and rebuild the analytics talent pyramid • Establish leadership development plans, talent assessments, and performance management systems • Report to the COO of Health Services and partner with the Chief Data Officer
• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business, or a related quantitative field or additional related work experience • 15+ years of progressive experience in healthcare analytics, actuarial science, data science, or enterprise analytics leadership • 8+ years of senior leadership experience overseeing analytical teams and enterprise-scale initiatives • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing analytics operating models • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence cross-functional senior leadership • Demonstrated ability to translate analytical insights into measurable business outcomes • Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (F.S.A.) or equivalent advanced credential (preferred) • Advanced degree (master’s or higher) in a quantitative or business discipline (preferred) • Experience within a health insurance payer organization (preferred) • Experience partnering with enterprise data organizations (preferred) • Experience with process improvement methodologies (LEAN, Six Sigma, etc.) (preferred) • Experience developing recruiting strategies, talent programs, and team members (preferred) • Experience implementing AI-enabled analytics solutions into business workflows (preferred)
