📋 Description

• Execute Enterprise Data Strategy and Governance efforts • Manage consumption platforms and govern enterprise-wide consumption for consistency • Provide BI and analytics consultation across the organization to leverage data for actionable insights • Manage and administer enterprise-wide BI and analytics platforms • Translate business requirements into consumable and governed solutions • Capture data and design KPIs and visualizations for different audiences across the enterprise • Partner with IT Infrastructure and vendors to maintain BI applications and platforms • Configure different environments according to best practices • Establish platform governance processes and roll them out across the user community • Partner with business unit leaders, Product, Data, and Technology teams to assess data, KPI, and metric needs • Verify data accuracy and facilitate reuse and consistency • Deliver live dashboards and reports across multiple delivery platforms with a focus on self-service enablement • Analyze available data and KPIs against management requests to define new metrics • Maintain metadata and KPI/metric ownership through a stewardship model • Analyze data for causal relationships, trends, correlations, outliers, and anomalies • Reconcile and validate dashboards and reports for high-quality insight delivery • Identify process improvements, automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, and redesign infrastructure for scalability • Maintain access controls for BI platforms, reports, and dashboards • Identify and document BCP/DR and high-availability and recoverability requirements • Support less experienced teammates through knowledge sharing, templates, and reusable artifacts • Participate in stakeholder reviews and design sessions • Provide data, reports, and information to management • Monitor technology-related errors and work cross-functionally on complex solutions and improvements • Improve policies, procedures, and processes within scope of authority • Resolve high-level issues that teammates cannot solve • Stay current with technology trends and participate in high-level IT decisions • Monitor platform usage, database sizes, compute resources, and third-party costs for cost efficiency • Champion data transformation and new ways of working • Manage communications and partnerships with senior leaders, functional managers, and staff • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, BS in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science or related quantitative field required • Minimum of five to seven years’ experience in BI Analyst related role(s) • At least two years spent in a senior technical level role(s) • Highly proficient with business intelligence platforms, mainly Power BI and Tableau • Well versed in MS Azure Services related to BI and Analytics • Expert in Power BI Administration and Development with relevant certifications • Highly proficient in configuring and managing enterprise-wide platforms using best practices • Highly proficient in designing and rolling out SDLC processes for BI platform governance • Highly proficient in Data Governance, Stewardship, and Metadata Management • Highly proficient in developing reports, dashboards, self-service BI, and visualizations • Experience with technical documentation, metadata dictionaries, data validation rules, quality acceptance criteria, SDLC, Agile, and ITILv4 frameworks • Expert in SQL • Experience with relational databases including AuroraDB, IBM DB2, MemSQL, MS SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres, Redshift, or Snowflake • Experience with NoSQL databases including Cassandra, DynamoDB, Redis, or MongoDB • Experience analyzing structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data • Experience with data from internal core systems and third-party providers such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Zillow, CoreLogic, MLS Data, Public Records, and Property Data • Experience using Microsoft Office or Google G-Suite, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft SharePoint • Ability to perform root cause analysis and guide the team toward solutions • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment • Strong detail orientation and organization • Proven ability to lead effectively and drive results in a matrixed management environment • Ability to think critically, evaluate facts and data, draw conclusions, and assess downstream impacts and risks • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team-building skills • Self-starter with ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques • Ethical commitment to company values • Infrequent travel based on company events and/or relevant conferences or training • Work is primarily sedentary with mobility in an office setting • Frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse • Ability to accurately interpret sounds and visually/audio perceive information • Office environment with no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions
