📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage business intelligence solutions, including dashboards, reports, ad-hoc datasets, and visualizations • Partner with Product, Actuarial & Advanced Analytics, Underwriting, and other insurance functions to collect, structure, and validate data • Audit, compile, and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and integrity • Communicate findings and recommendations to business stakeholders and senior leaders • Automate manual reporting processes and build scalable, reusable solutions • Apply Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and similar AI tools to dashboard development, pipeline automation, code generation and review, and report QA • Clarify ambiguous business questions, evaluate trade-offs, and recommend appropriate approaches • Conduct peer reviews and mentor less experienced analysts as the Power BI subject matter expert • Support implementation of new practices, processes, and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered • 5–7 years of data analytics or related experience • Advanced SQL, data modeling, and data visualization skills • Recognized Power BI subject matter expertise; Tableau or other BI tools a plus • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Notebooks, Pipelines, Dataflows, Power BI integration, and Python for Fabric Notebooks • Understanding of database structures, relationships, and dependencies • Strong critical thinking and proactive problem-solving abilities • Strong written and verbal communication with business stakeholders and senior leaders • Peer mentoring and peer review capabilities • Intermediate insurance domain knowledge and understanding of MGA operations; insurance industry experience preferred • Advanced hands-on AI fluency, including daily use of Claude and Microsoft Copilot • Ability to describe a problem solved or automated with AI • Knowledge of AI prompting, workflow design, and validating AI output • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, charts, and graphing
