• Supervise and direct Business Analysis staff in day-to-day operations • Provide oversight of a Business Analysis Team • Work with project sponsors to document objectives for complex projects • Analyze project scope and identify stakeholders • Elicit requirements through interviews, document analysis, and viewpoints • Write project requirements specifications and business rules • Define quality attributes, constraints, external interfaces, and nonfunctional requirements • Establish and implement testing strategies for programming changes • Identify cross-impacts of programming changes • Document system changes, business rules, use cases/user stories, and test scripts • Decompose high-level business and user requirements into detailed functional requirements • Represent requirements with flowcharts, diagrams, and scenarios • Participate in business justification and requirements prioritization • Promote reuse of requirements across projects • Participate in reviews and inspections of requirements documents and work products • Track direct-report performance, approve time-off requests, and deliver performance reviews • Maintain and continuously improve requirements practices • Assist with requirements engineering policies, procedures, and tools • Resolve issues escalated by teammates • Develop the Business Analysis team through knowledge sharing, experience, and expertise • Serve as a conduit between business stakeholders and the Information Systems software development team
• Bachelor's Degree directly related to the position or equivalent, required • Minimum three years' experience to five years' experience in programming/system analysis • Minimum two years supervisory or leadership experience • Relevant experience in mortgage lending and/or consumer lending technology • Experience in mortgage operations segment highly preferred • Experience leading/working with teams in an agile setting • Experience managing backlog/release plan • Experience writing and collaborating on epics and user stories • Analytical skills and ability to scrutinize complex work processes and streamline them • Modeling skills to represent requirements information graphically • Understanding of requirements engineering across Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps life cycles • Excellent verbal and written communication • Ability to interview subjects, facilitate group discussions, gather information, and report results • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Wiki, Google Docs, collaborative cloud-based programs, and third-party software applications • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, data-driven environment • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously • Ability to work independently and lead projects with strong attention to detail • Highly organized and detail-oriented • Commitment to company values
