📋 Description

• Assist Gurobi users with model building, solver performance, and deployment within complex architectures • Respond to advanced technical questions from Gurobi users, covering API usage and solver behavior • Conduct performance tuning for customer models • Write technical articles for the Gurobi website • Pursue a self-selected, impactful side project • Present new product features and capabilities at technical conferences and interact with Gurobi users • Conduct webinars and directly engage with Gurobi users • Collaborate with Research and Development, Technical Account Management, and Marketing departments • Collaborate with a skilled team on projects across various domains • Maximize the efficiency of Gurobi products through mathematical programming knowledge and coding skills

🎯 Requirements

• A Ph.D. in Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline or equivalent experience • 3-5 years of experience in a business-related field • 3-5 years of experience in the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) industry • Exceptional written and oral communication skills • Proficiency in conveying complex ideas clearly and succinctly, both in spoken and written form • A strong problem-solving orientation with meticulous attention to detail • High emotional intelligence, particularly in self-awareness, empathy, and self-motivation • A mindset characterized by curiosity and a genuine enthusiasm for learning • Awareness and adaptability regarding time zones in a global team setting • Analytical thinking abilities for problem identification and solution development • Proficiency in software development using a high-level programming language like Python or C++ • Practical experience in computational tasks related to linear programming and mixed-integer programming • Fundamental system administration skills • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, including Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure • Ability to work in the United States, as indicated by the USA role location and E-Verify verification of newly hired employees
