• Provide support to clients associated with the FEMA Public Assistance (PA) Program and/or other special programs as needed • Support local governments and private non-profits recovering from natural disasters through federal funding programs, namely the FEMA PA program • Collect documentation covering damage reports, financial information, facility maintenance records, and other relevant data • Assist clients with ensuring costs are eligible for funding based on FEMA PA program policy, process, and compliance rules • Partner with clients to contribute to project formulation efforts, including creating FEMA PA Project Worksheets (PWs) • Contribute to other recovery efforts outside of the FEMA PA program as assigned • Work in different environments depending on the project, including remotely, with intermittent travel to client sites, or potentially longer-term travel on deployments
• A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience, preferably in management consulting or in a role directly supporting the FEMA PA Program • A bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., economics, political science, public policy, emergency management, business administration) • Previous experience with financial analysis and reconciliation • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) • Strong written and verbal communication skills
