📋 Description

• Provide management and leadership to a tree crew while performing assigned jobs • Communicate daily with the General Foreman regarding all aspects of the job • Perform all skills required of tree trimmers with a safety-first mindset • Understand and manage assigned jobs • Maintain equipment inspection paperwork • Inspect and maintain equipment • Complete daily paperwork and reports • Complete timesheets accurately and on time • Perform other assigned tasks and responsibilities • Service the greater Atlanta, Augusta, and Valdosta areas • Travel as required

🎯 Requirements

• Valid driver's license • CDL is required; the employer may assist with obtaining a CDL license if the candidate meets permit, training, timing, and DOT requirements • Proven experience as a trimmer/climber and bucket operator, often 2+ years • OSHA, Aerial Rescue, First Aid/CPR training • Leadership, crew coordination, training, equipment inspection, daily reporting, and problem-solving skills • Tree identification, hand/power tool operation, climbing/trimming techniques, and equipment maintenance • Ability to perform strenuous tasks, lift heavy brush, and work in various weather conditions • Must be authorized to work in the United States • Bilingual is a plus • Ability to push/pull brush or wood in excess of 100 lbs • Ability to perform strenuous repetitive work while walking, bending, sitting, or climbing • Ability to use personal protective gear daily • Ability to identify job hazards, job briefings, and drop zones • Ability to identify tree assignments and initiate drop zones • Ability to evaluate proper mechanical or manual methods for tree assignments • Completion of safety videos, First Aid and CPR Training Programs, Aerial Rescue Training Program, and Trimmer Standards • Developed climbing skills within 24+ months
