📋 Description

• Identify potential project investors and/or buyers across investment and banking communities and maintain partner awareness of Hanwha Renewables’ capabilities and pipeline • Build project finance models to forecast future liabilities • Execute capital raises and/or project sales, including marketing materials, data room creation, and internal and external process management • Collaborate with developers on deal teams to maximize project returns and NPV, identify critical financing issues, and recommend solutions • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure accurate, defensible Capex and OPEX assumptions • Perform other job-related duties as requested by management

🎯 Requirements

• Must have BS/BA and ideally MBA • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in project finance, corporate finance, or investment banking • At least 3 years of solar and/or storage project experience • Demonstrated experience sourcing, developing, and managing relationships with project sponsors, buyers, IPPs, tax equity investors, and project lenders • Detailed knowledge of all phases of project finance in solar PV plants and BESS projects • Basic understanding of key development concepts for risk analysis • Proficient Excel skills for independently creating and updating sophisticated financial models • Experience pricing PPA bids, evaluating project economics, and simulating financial outcomes • Experience working with project developers and understanding of the RFP process • Ability to identify key risks and deliver project finance solutions • Track record of independently sourcing and communicating with investors, managing investor due diligence, and negotiating and closing complex financing and project sell-down transactions • Ability to develop targeted investor marketing programs, strategic partnerships, and customized investment products • Long-term strategic perspective and near-term action orientation • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; strong team-player orientation and professionalism • Ability to interact with senior leadership cross-culturally and within and outside the organization • Willingness to travel domestically
