📋 Description

• Serve as the primary upfit subject-matter expert for customers and dealer partners • Consult with customers to understand use cases, duty cycles, and operational requirements • Recommend appropriate upfit solutions aligned with Harbinger vehicle specifications and performance parameters • Support sales teams with technical guidance during the sales process • Define and maintain approved upfit configurations, compatibility guidelines, and best practices • Build scalable frameworks for common customer applications, including delivery, service bodies, refrigeration, utility, and specialty builds • Develop configuration rules, constraints, and documentation for quoting and ordering • Collaborate with third-party upfitters, body manufacturers, and equipment vendors • Evaluate new upfit partners and solutions for compatibility and scalability • Support partner onboarding and training • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Manufacturing to ensure upfit feasibility • Communicate customer-driven requirements into product roadmaps • Support homologation, safety, and regulatory compliance where applicable • Build repeatable workflows for upfit selection, validation, and approval • Create internal and external documentation, playbooks, and enablement materials • Support digital tools for configuration, quoting, and order management • Track field feedback, warranty data, and customer satisfaction related to upfits • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities • Recommend standardized solutions based on market demand

🎯 Requirements

• 6–10+ years of experience in commercial vehicles, upfitting, body equipment, fleet solutions, or related fields • Strong understanding of box bodies, service bodies, refrigeration units, liftgates, cranes, racks, and specialty equipment • Experience working with dealers, OEMs, or fleet customers • Ability to translate technical requirements into clear customer-facing guidance • Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills • Excellent written and verbal communication • Preferred: experience in electric vehicles, alternative powertrains, or emerging mobility platforms • Preferred: familiarity with vehicle integration, electrical systems, weight distribution, and load constraints • Preferred: experience building standardized product or configuration frameworks • Preferred: prior experience supporting enterprise or fleet customers
