📋 Description

• Own the product roadmap for Paragon financial solutions, including revenue cycle, and manage priorities to meet time to market and time to value targets • Drive cross-functional development and launch of financial features from concept through delivery • Serve as the financial subject matter expert on the regulatory team • Monitor CMS, ONC, and federal and state requirements affecting billing, claims, payments, and financial reporting • Translate regulatory requirements into actionable product requirements • Define functional specifications, requirements, detailed use cases, and user stories for new features and regulatory changes • Explain designs and constraints to stakeholders • Collect, synthesize, and manage requirements from clients, internal stakeholders, and regulatory sources across multiple product releases • Work with engineering, QA, professional services, and support during design and implementation to shape feature set and usability and ensure quality delivery on time and on budget • Review test plans with software quality assurance and validate regulatory and performance requirements • Plan and manage execution of roadmaps, development schedules, and release scope • Partner with client-facing teams on escalations, defect prioritization, and communication of regulatory timelines and product changes to hospital business office and finance stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management, solution management, or a closely related role in healthcare IT, or equivalent experience in hospital revenue cycle or finance operations • Working knowledge of hospital revenue cycle processes (patient accounting, claims, remittance, contract management) and/or hospital accounting functions such as materials management, accounts payable, and general ledger • Familiarity with healthcare financial regulatory requirements, such as CMS billing and payment rules, price transparency, HIPAA X12 transactions, or comparable regulatory domains • Ability to interpret regulations into product requirements • Proven ability to write clear requirements, use cases, and user stories • Ability to communicate technical and regulatory concepts to varied audiences • Experience working cross-functionally with development, QA, and client-facing teams throughout the product development lifecycle • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities across multiple releases • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, healthcare administration, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • Direct experience with Paragon or another acute care EHR/HIS platform (nice to have) • Experience in a hospital business office, supply chain, or finance department (nice to have) • Familiarity with Aha!, Azure DevOps/TFS, and Confluence (nice to have) • Experience participating in regulatory certification or compliance programs such as ONC certification and CMS payment rule updates (nice to have)
