📋 Description

• Participate in implementation and maintenance of actuarial models, studies, and systems • Perform detailed analysis using actuarial principles for pricing, underwriting, statistics, reserving, forecasting, and other actuarial functions • Run and develop complicated models • Perform detailed analysis of model and study results • Develop simple written and oral presentations providing basic information for decision-making • Understand and apply basic business and actuarial concepts • Participate in training and development activities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Economics; other Bachelor or higher degrees may be considered • Completion of 3 ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) exam equivalents based on Society of Actuaries specifications • At least 2 years of actuarial experience • Verbal and written communication skills • PC proficiency including Word and Excel • Visa sponsorship is not available • Preferred: Access, SQL, Visual Basic or other programming skills • Preferred: Experience with Alteryx • Preferred: Proficiency in Tableau or Power BI • Preferred: Familiarity with tiered network analysis • Preferred: Familiarity with UDS discounts and claims repricing • Preferred: Actuarial experience in health insurance or a related field
